All you Obama-supporting people who voted FOR proposition 8 (or any similar other state proposition regarding same-sex marriages) disgust me; more so than anyone else who voted for prop 8. Why? Because you're supporting all of this "change" and "openness," yet you scorn people you don't even know or care about for absolutely no reason at all.
Does anyone have any single decent reason for how same-sex marriages affects them in some unbearable way? No, because if you are not gay and have no interest in being with someone of your same sex then it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU.
Get over yourselves and stop plastering your religious beliefs over everyone else's faces.

I agree, it does really suck. Did you hear about prop. 2 in Florida? I think though, that some people were fooled by false advertisement about prop.2 I guess some group/s put out information that same-sex marriages would be taught in schools and that churches and pastors could loose their rights or be jailed if they would not perform the marriages. Those were all lies of course, so I think its a matter of people being scared into voting for something they wouldn't otherwise care about. It does suck though and I was hugely disappointed in it.
